How long will the session take?
Typically senior sessions last anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half.
Does the parent have to stick around the whole session?
If the parent or senior prefers that a parent stick around that is absolutely fine with me, I have noticed some teens don't pose and smile to their best ability when they have someone watching them. You guys can definitely talk about it prior and figure out what would be best! When shooting near cafes and restaurants I have had a lot of parents go sit down for a coffee while we shoot and everyone meets up when we are done!
What do I bring?
-I recommend 1-3 outfits (I would recommend avoiding stripes, plaids, and any distracting patterns)
-Any kind of memorabilia from high school (class ring, jerseys or balls from a favorite sport, musical instruments, things with the school name or mascot on them, If the senior has already decided where they will be going to college bring something that represents the school they will be attending, anything the senior loves and wants to be photographed with is fine with me)
-Cap, gown, and tassel (if you have it)
